Subcommittee on International Human Rights committee  I think those are all the questions I have.

Subcommittee on International Human Rights committee  Thank you to the witnesses for your great presentation here so far today. Again, I think once the free trade agreement can be ratified and can take place, it may be a very important factor for Honduras. I know that crime usually results from two things: being undereducated and being unemployed.

Subcommittee on International Human Rights committee  I know that here in Canada, it's taken a long time for people to realize they can donate organs. It's been a long process. That process is happening in China, is it not? Is it because of their culture or their religion? I think we had that initially also. Subcommittee on International Human Rights committee  I do know that in order to have organ transplants, you have to have someone who wants that transplant. In your assessment, has illegal global trade in human organs improved or worsened over the past decade?

Subcommittee on International Human Rights committee  Thank you, Chair. Thank you, witnesses, for being here today. From your presentations that I've heard so far, it seems that setting yourself on fire has not necessarily worked. When you protest, you want a positive result. It's my assessment that China does not care about this type of protest.

Subcommittee on International Human Rights committee  Thank you. I find the testimony here today to be just amazing. I'm new on this committee, and that's why I haven't asked too many questions. It has been a real learning curve for me, and to hear the testimony today is incredible. I really have one question. In your view, how can Canada best support and strengthen Russia's civil society and the work of human rights defenders and independent journalists?
