In addition, SDIR has adopted a draft report entitled, “Current Situation for Democracy and Human Rights Defenders Around the World”. The committee is now being asked to adopt the standard motions related to the report.
Number one is that the draft report be adopted. Number two is that the report be entitled, “Standing with Democracy and Human Rights Defenders: Strengthening Support at a Crucial Time”. Is that agreed?

Number three is that the chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report. Number four is that, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to this report and that the Chair present the report to the House.
