The special ballot vote is extended to family members who are deployed overseas in an OUTCAN situation, but not those within Canada. We actually had approximately 175 civilian votes that were transported with military votes. They were separate but transported with them and delivered to Elections Canada. A spouse, or a sibling of legal age who is on an OUTCAN deployment with their father or mother, would be allowed to vote, and we would transport those votes to Elections Canada alongside ours.
