For many of the witnesses who have presented as part of this study, their main concern about civic resilience has been about misinformation and disinformation on social media and how getting mainstream media back on Meta platforms specifically should solve some of the misinformation and disinformation, just by getting reputable journalism back on Meta platforms. The mainstream media is refusing to report on their existing platforms about peer-reviewed evidence that you and your colleagues have done, so how would putting those news articles back on Meta improve civic resilience, if they're not reporting those facts through the streams they have available to them now?
