That's right. Every time we see governments trying to put more and more regulations on what people can say online, we see more and more people leave that conversation. They're no longer engaging with the mainstream media or the civic institutions as they might have. They no longer want to go through the regular democratic channels of petitions and things like this. They become isolated, and it does more harm than good.
