The problem with those instruments is that they do not provide transparency as to the original source of the contributor. A key principle of our system is that we know where the money comes from. There's no, in my view, valid reason to use a prepaid instrument, a prepaid credit card, to provide money to a candidate or to a political party. These tools may have a very valid purpose otherwise in our economy, but in terms of financing parties and candidates, I do not believe they are appropriate.
