I was trying to explain that the initiative not only would undermine civil liberties but was foundationally undermining the opportunity for our domestic smart city companies at a time when the priority was to transition to the green economy. You need these companies to grow, and your policy apparatus would undermine their prospects, as well as civil liberties.
