I would absolutely ask the parties to. Again, this is a non-partisan issue. You need to come together. You need to understand and, at the very least, think about your own daughter, niece, mother, grandmother and best friend who may be a female—whomever. Think about them. Think about how you would feel and how the ripple effect would affect you if they were attacked or taken from you in this manner.
