I see your proposal for having a reverse onus in cases to which, for folks at home, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act applies, but can we talk about sentencing?
If someone is convicted of a serious crime, or of a crime, we now see situations where judges prescribe more lenient sentences so as not to affect the immigration status of a particular accused.
