Health committee  Would it behoove this committee to write to every provincial minister of health after the final report of this committee to ensure they hear that message loud and clear? Is that another path we could possibly go down to ensure the message is heard clearly?

Health committee  I realize you're not a marketing expert, but what I'm asking is how we get that message out there so that it's loud and clear without, sadly, the task force changing its guidelines.

Business of Supply  It is not as simple as attributing a single weather event to human-caused climate change. The evidence is clear that Canada is experiencing more frequent and more intense storms. Climate change is leading to intense disasters not only here at home but also around the world. We know climate change brings the possibility of more frequent exceptional weather.

Health committee  CCS supports expanding access to breast cancer screening for women and trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people aged 40 to 49 at average risk of developing breast cancer. We also need to ensure that there is clear guidance for people who have an elevated or high risk of developing breast cancer, such as people with certain genetic mutations, a family history or dense breasts. I will turn the remarks over to Ciana.

Procedure and House Affairs committee  I suspect the administration here wasn't even informed of the attack on me, because that had nothing to do with their jobs. Secondly, we have still not heard clear testimony regarding what information exactly was shared with House IT and when—whether it was merely a few technical details or the full robust picture that was shared with our intelligence services by the FBI.

Citizenship and Immigration committee  I want to pick up on what Ms. Kwan was talking about. In 2012, the former Conservative government, led by Stephen Harper, signed a treaty with Hong Kong. This was to deal with double taxation issues with regard to income tax. The purpose was to treat taxpayers fairly in each jurisdiction and to prevent tax sheltering and money laundering.

Human Resources committee  Thank you. That clears things up. I'll stay on the topic of federal lands. When the most recent budget was released, the New Democratic Party strongly advocated for the use of the Department of National Defence and Canada Post lands or other offices that could be converted into social and truly affordable housing.

Human Resources committee  There are already a few examples of federal public lands in Montreal and Longueuil, including a huge piece of land in Montreal called Bridge‑Bonaventure owned in part by the Canada Lands Company. The community is heavily involved and the federal government has a clear plan that could be a game‑changer for the type of development that will take place. In our opinion, given the current scarcity and high cost of land resources, the federal government's use of land could provide a major boost in a number of areas.

Marine Liability Act  As extreme weather events become more common and the demand for goods continues to escalate, it is necessary to develop a clear national strategy to not only clean up container spills in a timely, effective manner when they occur but to prevent them from happening in the first place. We cannot sit by and wait for another disaster to occur.

Human Resources committee  Some Quebec municipalities and social and community housing organizations have recently set the goal of increasing the rental stock to 20% within 15 years. The federal government must also work towards this goal and provide clear targets and the resources to reach them. Otherwise, the private market will continue to hold the monopoly, leaving more and more households in the lurch.

Official Languages committee  I am referring to this motion, because the Conservative Party wants to publish a press release in the next few days saying that the members of the committee do not want to work this summer. That is clear. It is a strategy that has been used in the past. I am not impressed by it. We will be voting against it.

Human Resources committee  Laflamme, thank you for all the work you've done in Quebec over the years to defend people who are in difficulty and need housing. You were quite clear in your introduction about the fact that there are 1.6 million households in Canada that spend more than 30% of their incomes on housing, which leaves them in a precarious position and, in many instances, in poverty.

Official Languages committee  But as long as the member for Glengarry—Prescott—Russell is sitting on the committee, I have to inform you that we, the Conservatives—and it's unfortunate for the official language minority communities—we cannot accept this person's presence. Unfortunately, we will continue to intervene with that in mind. My motion is clear. As of Monday, we have lost seven meetings. Seven meetings means that the official language minority communities have lost out. It's not us, the three opposition parties, that decided to waste these meetings; it's the Liberals, because they won't allow us to vote.

Official Languages committee  If the letter was sent a month ago, we could always have it circulated again if Mr. Godin hasn't read it. What Ms. Boyer said is clear, and the letter was sent to everyone, I understand.

Official Languages committee  I'm not asking you for confirmation, Mr. Chair. I want to be very clear. What I'm asking is whether we have the wording of the delegation of powers from the minister to the official languages minister. Mr. Chair, could you give me an update on my speaking time—
