I have one other question with regard to section 2 of the present act. There is an amendment to remove the words “for profit“, meaning that not-for-profit organizations would fall under this act. We've seen the application go a bit differently in the United States. I'm trying to get an appreciation of what effect that would have on NGOs and charities operating in foreign countries, particularly those dealing with humanitarian assistance.
How would removing “for profit” and bringing into the act not-for-profits affect charities and NGOs?
