Dr. Mohamad Abu Awad

I would laugh at the idea of putting in conditions. We're not immature. We're not children or babies. Palestinian people are people. They're professors, they're smart and they deserve independence.

Starting with conditions is simply like you're telling a nation that you shouldn't be ready for a state. I don't think there is a nation in this whole world that will tell you that this nation is ready to be a nation: Every nation is an evolving process. Allow us to evolve.

Mike Morrice Green Kitchener Centre, ON

Thank you, Dr. Awad.

Go ahead, Mr. Balsam.

I don't have much to add, except that, as Mr. Bueckert has suggested, the conditions have already been met for a Palestinian state. I think that to now add more conditions is just blocking that way forward.

That's excellent.

Thank you again. We're very grateful.
