Thank you, Mr. Badawey.

For the new members who recently joined the committee, we can ensure that the list of ports that were approved and highlighted is sent around to all of you.

I have one other question. We had a witness mention the port modernization. How are the timing and chronology working here? Are we going to get a report back, and then go back to have another look at ports? I understand the desire to get out and move around, and obviously ports will continue to be an issue.

That's a question for the parliamentary secretary or the government side. Do we have any indication of when that issue may be back in our lap? Can we time it perfectly, or are we going to take the risk that we're going to do this first and deal with it again later?

First of all, thank you for the question, Mr. Strahl.

Before I turn it over to the parliamentary secretary, I want to point out that we can have discussions about whether or not we even do this and whether or not the timing works out in the future. This is to ensure that, should the committee decide to do this at some point and the timing works out for us on it, the funding will be there to be able to do it. This is not a commitment that we are going to do it.

I hope that answers the question.

Seeing no other comments or questions, are there any objections to the clerk resubmitting the request?

(Motion agreed to)

Thank you very much, colleagues.

Seeing no other business, the meeting is adjourned. Have a wonderful evening, everyone.
